Also, it's an excellent supporter of local artists. "HONEY BEE'S DINNING ROOM DOUBLES AS A CASUAL GALLERY SPACE WHERE WE EXHIBIT THE WORK OF LOCAL VISUAL ARTISTS. WE HAVE A SHORT LIST OF ROTATING CURRENT FEATURED ARTISTS PRESENTLY ON DISPLAY IN-HOUSE AND A MUCH LONGER CACHE OF TALENTED, HARD WORKING FRIENDS OF THE HOUSE." This constantly freshens up the restaurant and allows artists to have the spotlight. The food and the art together are a brilliant combination.
I particularly enjoyed Hannah McCormick's series of The Baby King. She is claimed to be a favorite of H.B.B (I can see why) and has some beautiful pieces on her site. When I saw Hannah's featured work, she had large tarps all painted with an interpretation of this man. This series was rather biblical and demanded thought.
